In the last blog post I showed you
the
new KESCH Event & Brand Experience Trend Report 2024.
In this eighth edition of our renowned event trend report, we are integrating the area of brand experience this year.
Now I would like to take a closer look at each trend and discuss it in detail by dedicating an article to each trend. Let’s start with the first and perhaps most exciting trend: the AI revolution.
You can download the entire report at the end of this blog post.
In 2024, AI will change the event industry like never before!
Imagine entering a futuristic conference hall. Digital assistants welcome you personally and show you the way to your personalized seat. On stage, a 3D hologram of an international expert interacts seamlessly with the audience. During the event, algorithms analyze real-time participant engagement to dynamically adapt the presentations. This is not a scene from a sci-fi movie, but the present and future of events powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
According to a study by Grand View Research, the market for AI in the event industry is estimated to reach 10 billion dollars by 2025, which underlines the growing importance of this technology.
How can you use AI at events?
As you may have noticed, the topic of AI at events is very close to my heart. I have been working very intensively on this topic for about a year and have even developed my own masterclass for it, the AI Event Masterclass. See here
I would like to give you a few examples and ideas of how AI is already being used and how you might be able to use it in 2024.
1. personalization of experiences
AI makes it possible to tailor events to individual preferences. A survey by EventMB shows that 89% of event planners use AI to create personalized agenda recommendations for attendees. You can use this technology to inspire your guests with customized workshops, presentations and networking opportunities.
2. efficient event planning
AI-driven analysis tools can process huge amounts of data to identify trends and patterns. A study by Bizzabo found that 84% of event organizers consider data analysis to be crucial to the success of their events. Use AI to identify optimization potential in logistics, catering and room layout.
3. interactive experiences through chatbots
Chatbots, powered by AI, offer an interactive and instant communication option. Salesforce reports that 53% of service organizations are using chatbots, which is a significant increase. Use this technology to answer your participants’ questions in real time and create a seamless experience.
4. improved network capabilities
AI can help to create meaningful connections between participants. A study by Harvard Business Review shows that AI makes networking at events 75% more effective. Use matching algorithms to bring together participants with similar interests or business potential.
Conclusion
The use of AI at events is not a trend that lies in the future – it is already a reality and will fundamentally change the way we experience events. By using AI, you can not only improve the experience for your participants, but also make the planning process more efficient and effective. It’s time to use this technology and its benefits for your events.
My
KESCH
team and I use AI on a daily basis for research, creating event concepts, emotionalizing brands, creating sound files, creating event designs, trade fair designs and much more.
